Taking a risk

RIC IS a new acronym that some engineers want to establish at the ICE.

It stands for Risks in Construction for which members Elizabeth Bennett and John Anderson hope to set up a forum at the Civils. 'We want something like the British Tunnelling Society but where we can all talk about risks,' says Bennett. Members who would like to be involved with the launch of this group, to be organised under the management board should contact Jon Martin at ICE, tel: (0171) 665 2216.
