Systematic grouting been carried out at site of Kaohsiung metro

Systematic grouting has been carried out at the site of last month's ground collapse on the Kaohsiung metro project in Taiwan, says client the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Company. A three storey apartment block subsided heavily on one corner following what it described as a diaphragm wall leak close to station 01 of the Orange Line - one of two under construction. Consultant Mott MacDonald, which is independent consultant to KRTC, said it was 'aiding the investigation'.
