Swing into action

NCE events NCE Charity Golf Masters

A RECORD of 20 teams will line up ready to tee off at the NCE Charity Golf Masters on 16 September.

Golfers of all standards will tackle the championship course at Leatherhead Golf Club in Surrey - a challenging but enjoyable course in a mature parkland setting - competing in individual and team competitions over 18 holes.

The event is now in its fourth year and as in the past will raise cash for RedR, the profession's charity. RedR trains, selects and provides competent and effective engineering and healthcare professionals to work for humanitarian relief agencies in some of the most inhospitable parts of the world.

Last year £10,000 was raised - a target that we hope to beat this year.

Teams taking part this year include Balfour Beatty, Scott Wilson, Mouchel Parkman, ACO Technologies, Burgess Salmon, Burdens, Wilson James, Carl Bro, Capita Symonds, Buro Happold, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Rod Hoare, Roger Bullivant, Faber Maunsell, Boxwood, Stats, the Association of Consulting Engineers and of course NCE. Piling specialist Rock & Alluvium has sponsored the balls on the day.

There is still time to enter.

Contact event organiser Chris Hoare on 01403 753869 or 07944 521390 for details.

Winners and highlights from the day will be reported in NCE
