Sustainable sprayed concrete to be targeted by new joint venture

Atlas Copco and BASF Construction Chemicals have announced that they have signed an agreement to work together on development of sustainable sprayed concrete expertise.

The joint venture follows on from Atlas Copco’s acquisition of sprayed concrete equipment manufacturer Meyco from BASF which was finalised yesterday.

Atlas Copco has said that the joint research and development with BASF will help to enforce Meyco’s leading position in the sector.

“The cooperation will focus on the development of innovative concrete spraying solutions with high product performance and availability to satisfy customer needs,” said Atlas Copco Mining and Rock Excavation Business Area president Bob Fassl.
