Subs stance

I read with interest that the ICE is to take a strict stance with those members who delay payment of their subscription.

This is something with which I largely agree, although my track record in the past has been far from perfect.

However, since I pay by direct debit the issue of subs is one I need not concern myself with any longer.

What is rather painful is the three instalment system of payment resulting in sums of £70 - three months in a row - being removed from my battered, post Christmas bank account.

Every other direct debit payment set on my account is for 12 or 10 monthly installments through the year, so why not the ICE?
