Stratford International Station box

One of the key features of Section Two is the Stratford International Station in east London, which will form an important interchange. The £39M Stratford box foundations package is one of the largest diaphragm walls ever to be built in the UK. The box is 1,075m long and is up to 50m wide and 25m deep, covering a total area of about 65,000m 2(Figure 8).
