Stone me

Nine ageing stone window mullions have been removed from the exterior of Glasgow's Caledonian Chambers and replaced with new ones by rope access specialist Web Access Engineering. The mullions each weighed 300kgs and were six-storeys above the ground. They had begun to crack and were spalling concrete onto a newly glazed roof the city's grade two listed Central Station.
