Stent secures £1.3M housing foundation contract

Stent House Foundations has been awarded a £1.3M contract to design and build piles and ground beams for a new housing development by Strata Homes in Hull.

The deal to install the foundations for the new 235 home development is the largest ever contract secured by the Balfour Beatty subsidiary.

Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering has confirmed that the ground beams for the development will be manufactured at its Nottingham precast pile factory using 99% recycled steel and 35% cement replacement.
