Steamed up

I would expect a journal such as NCE to know the difference between a train and a locomotive (ICE news 13 July).

The locomotive in question is GWR No. 6024 King Edward I, built in 1930 and rescued from the scrapyard in 1973. It is owned by the 6024 Preservation Society; web address www.6024. com. Richard Abbey, general manager and membership secretary, would be very pleased to accept new members or donations towards the upkeep of its locomotive.
