'Steady' and 'satisfactory' results for Costain

Costain today released a statement claiming that trading during the first half of 2007 had been steady for the contractor, with its forward order book described as satisfactory.
The trading update to the London Stock Exchange also identified the firm's civils division as one of its strongest performing business areas, accounting for 80% of the contractor's forward orders.Costain will reveal its interim results for the half year ended 30 June 2007 in September.
