'Steady and positive progress' on Britain's railways


The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) has described the overall safety performance on Britain's railways as one of 'steady and positive progress'. The HSE was reporting on the period 1 April 2004 to 31 December 2004 in which three track workers died and 11 people were killed on level crossings.
