Spurs training ground reaches major milestone

Tottenham Hotspur’s state-of-the-art £45M training ground reached a major milestone this week with contractor McLaren hosting a topping out ceremony.

McLaren was joined by first team manager Harry Redknapp, club captain Ledley King, and the project team.

Architect KSS and structural engineer AKT designed the academy which consists of a two-story training centre, arched roof and transparent ETFE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) roof.

The academy will also host 11 outdoor pitches, and is due for completion in May.
