Killer question worth 5 marks If the probability of rain on any given day on a construction site in Hull is 50%, what is the probability that it will rain on the site on three days in a fiveday period?

You have one week to answer this question.

Note: Standard Clever Clogs questions are worth 2 marks. This killer question is worth 5 marks.

Visit www. cleverclogsonline. com to post your answer now.

Don't forget that you can enter as a team as well as an individual.

A few people were disappointed to not have all the published questions on-line, so from now on we will include all those printed on the site.

STOP PRESS: The deadline to register for Clever Clogs and to answer the first week's questions has been extended by 24 hours.

The answers will be on www. nceplus.co.uk from 9am on Friday 20 February.

From now on the build-up question will not always be posted on-line. From time to time we will ask for the answer and prizes will be awarded for swiftest replies.

Clever Clogs prize A special Clever Clogs prize of a £10 Amazon voucher goes this week to Jennifer Pope of Poole Harbour Commissioners - Jennifer logged the first registration to Clever Clogs on Thursday morning.

Congratulations.
