Speedy shutters

A new time saving shuttering system has been launched by expanded polystyrene insulation and civils products manufacturer Vencel Resil.

It is designed to provide permanent shuttering for foundation beams with piled foundations in houses and utility buildings. It is made up of bottom plates and side walls featuring a tongue and groove connection that prevents concrete or water from running away. End, corner and T sections allow junctions to be made quickly and easily.

In addition, the insulation properties of the system help reduce the cold transfer at ground level.

The bottom sections are held in place by pegs while top brackets give stability in cross and lengthways directions.
