Songs of praise

Of course you should tell stories of serious problems on major projects (NCE last week). We also need to celebrate successes.

The Welsh Rugby Union and South Glamorgan County Council brought to fruition the complex and widely acclaimed Millennium Stadium in Cardiff to budget and to programme.

Last November the Wales Millennium Centre, another complex and widely acclaimed project, was completed to budget and to programme.

Both schemes cost well over £100M and were the result of co-operation between Lottery Funds, public agencies and other bodies. I am sure NCE readers could give many more such examples of success.
