Skanska wins contract to build two Polish bridges

Skanska to build two bridges and associated access roads in Poland for £29M.

Skanska has received the construction contract for bridges over the Odra and Jeziorka rivers together with access roads near Wrocław, Poland.

Client is the Lower Silesian Roads and Rail Service, the public institution in charge of road and railway projects in the Lower Silesia region. 

 The project comprises of a 565m long bridge over the Odra river, a 99m long bridge over Jeziorka river and seven kilometres of access roads.

The project, co-financed by funds from the European Regional Development Fund, is scheduled to be completed at the end of September 2013.
