Swedish contractor Skanska is heading a consortium which has won a $179M contract to renovate a 14km stretch of the main railway between Slovakia's capital Bratislava and Trnava. The project also covers the reconstruction of six stations. Skanska CZ is working with Slovakian companies Stavby silnic a zeleznic, TCHAS and Elektrizacia zeleznic Kysak for Slovakian railway company Zeleznice Slovenske Republiky.
