Skanska awarded a $76.8M bridge construction contract


UK contractor Skanska has been awarded a $76.8M bridge construction contract by Florida Department of Transportation. The contract covers the replacement of the 445m Bridge of Lions over the Matanzas River as well as construction of a temporary 670m structure.

Signature steel arched beams from the 76 year old structure will be reused in the new bridge.
