Settling details

FULL DETAILS of the 938ha land reclamation for Chek Lap Kok airport in Hong Kong are revealed in the October issue of the ICE Geotechnical Engineering journal.

The report sets down the results of tests which show that the engineering design and construction methods reduced risks from adverse settlements.
