Second phase completed


The Environment Agency has completed the second phase of a flooding strategy to protect 12,000 properties in the lower Thames region, running from Hurley in Berkshire to Teddington in London. Five approaches have been identified ranging from re-profiling the River Thames and building three new diversion channels, to community flood protection plans.
