Scott Wilson acquisition shows intent for rail sector growth

Scott Wilson today announced plans to acquire mechanical and electrical services consultant Terence Lee Partnership, in a move which aims to strengthen their position in the global rail market.

The firm has collaborated with Terence Lee Partnership on a number of projects for London Underground over the last six years, and the £1.3M acquisition is seen as a first step to expanding their UK and international rail capability.

Scott Wilson executive chairman Geoff French said: "The Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Terence Lee Partnership, further strengthening our metro ability and enabling us to take greater advantage of the growing international markets in this sector.”

"We have already worked with Terence Lee Partnership for a number of years and look forward to building on an existing successful working relationship in providing a greater range of services,” he added.

The £1.3M acquisition will follow a brief consultation period before being formalised on the 6th June.
