Scotland's deputy minister

Scotland's deputy minister for enterprise, transport and lifelong learning Lewis McDonald has announced that four of Scotland's busiest commuter lines will have their station platforms extended to accommodate new and longer trains. The lines affected are the Edinburgh to Bathgate and Edinburgh to Stirling lines, the Fife Circle and the Glasgow to East Kilbride line.
