SCOTCH TWIST

Tunnelling has begun on a 1.6km long stretch of duplication sewer tunnel in Dunfermline for Scottish Water. A 55t Lovat full face tunnel boring machine was launched in September as part of a £6.9M contract being carried out by AMCO Donelon to build the 2.1m diameter structure, which has a total length of 2.25km.
