Savill Fabrications fined

Steelwork company Savill Fabrications was this week fined £4,000 and ordered to pay £10,000 costs at City of London Magistrates Court for failing to supervise workers or provide a construction methodology for erection of steel beams. The firm was prosecuted by the Health & Safety Executive after one of its workers fell and was seriously injured in May 2001.
