Construction's premier sailing regatta, the Little Britain Challenge Cup, raised £75,000 for charity at last September's event in Cowes, it emerged this week. Over 200 yachts took part in the Isle of Wight event, making it the largest regatta in Britain after Cowes Week and the biggest European industry sailing event. LBCC chairman Nicholas Colwyn Foulkes presented a cheque for £58,000 to TV presenter Peter Snow - vice president of Jubilee Sailing Trust, the event's main beneficiary, at the London Boat Show this week.
