Russia: the future

RUSSIAN LINKS are to be further strengthened later this month by a high-level meeting between the ICE and the Russian Society of Civil Engineers in Moscow to discuss the subject of international accreditation.

ICE chief executive Mike Casebourne, international director John Beck and Beck's predecessor John Whitwell will be joined by Joint Board of Moderators' chairman Richard Haryott to hammer out a strategy that will allow the top ten Russian universities to be accredited as meeting international standards.

It is hoped that international accreditation will then pave the way for an upsurge in ICE membership from within Russia.
