Royal Haskoning reports turnover "has stabilized" during the first half of 2009

Royal Haskoning has reported a turnover of €182M in the first half of 2009, an increase of 3% compared to the same period in 2008.

Thanks to the spread of activities, a decrease in turnover in some divisions has been compensated for by growth in other divisions, it said.

During the first half of 2009 new orders of €198 million have been brought in and “Work in Hand” for the company is at a satisfactory level of 6.6 months.

During the second half of the year the firm said it would strive to maintain this position by continuing to focus on the essential elements of its business and the creation of value for our clients as a core objective.

“However, there are considerable uncertainties in the market and their overall impact on our performance during the second half of the year remains to be seen,” it said.
