Right behind Council

Letters

Speaking as past chairman of the Northern Counties Association I wish to support the Council decision on the single membership issue.

When my local association debated this under my chairmanship at our last committee meeting, we understood the matter of corporate status for AMICE's and we were well aware of the separate debate regarding the inclusion of the future higher value IEngs in MICE.

The key issue was to create an all-inclusive institution for the future and I believe the Council role and clear leadership is a step towards that objective.

David Belsham, past chairman david.belsham@edmundnuttall.co.uk
