Rhead wins National Grid framework deal

Rhead Group has been selected for a National Grid project services framework.

The framework is for services on National Grid’s capital plan and asset health projects. It covers sectors such as gas, electricity transmission, and carbon capture and storage.

Rhead’s contract will run for the next three years, with an optional two-year extension.

The professional services consultancy will provide a range of services, including: health, safety and environmental management; project management; project controls and planning; commercial management; engineering; risk management; and other specialist disciplines.

Nigel Curry, chief executive of Rhead Group, said: “National Grid has been a key client for Rhead Group for more than 15 years, where we have provided project services across the gas, electric, liquefied natural gas and carbon sectors.

“In support of our expanding international energy and power businesses we have invested significantly in attracting new talent to the team to support Natinal Grid and our global growth.”
