I was most interested in your recent article Over 45 in a 25 zone. However, you quote one of our junior consultants which does not reflect our view on the issue.
The comment, which implied clients prefer younger candidates, was untrue and contrary to AndersElite policy and experience.
Half of the candidates placed by us since January 2001 have been over 35 years old and 37% of the total were over 40 years old.
Furthermore, we have recently placed a 65 and a 70 year old with one of our clients, Richard Fee of Turner Facilities Management, who has a number of staff members in this age range. This is not an isolated case.
