Retired rule 'too simplistic'


While the ICE needs to review the number of retired members benefiting from reduced subs, the expectation that all would automatically pay higher subscriptions is too simplistic. Many would resign from the Institution.

Far better for the Institution to lower the level of earnings below which the reduced fee is payable to [say] £5,000 pa.
