Resign of the times

I am amazed by the constant claim of a skills shortage. Mr Blair says I will have to work until I am 70 because my country needs me. To do what?

The solution is clearly to resign my membership - a worthwhile saving when I am unemployed - and then apply for trainee positions. With 20 years in front of me I must be a good bet.

And all those people who do not even acknowledge your application letters, well I have a little list and a long memory.
