Siemens to build £1bn subsea England-Scotland link


If this National Grid connection is to be under the sea rather than suspended from pylons, and of course most connections to windfarms are under sea in any case, shouldn't this become the norm with the remaining connections also be laid this way rather than having rows of pylons marching across the Scottish Highlands.
