Report of the transport select committee


The Health & Safety Commission has attacked as 'disappointing' and unfair criticisms made of its railway division in a recent parliamentary investigation into the industry. 'The tone of comments [in the report of the transport select committee] contrasts with the widespread positive reception for the HSC's new strategy to 2010 and beyond, ' said HSC chairman Bill Callaghan in a letter originally sent to transport committee chairwoman Gwyneth Dunwoody.
