Report into the derailment of westbound central line

London Underground's interim report into the derailment of a westbound central line train at White City on 11 May has ruled out several causes including train operator error, signalling error or defect, components falling from the train, vandalism and sabotage. Investigator attention will focus on the points, which were similar to those in the Camden Town derailment in October last year and track maintenance carried out immediately beforehand. A final report will be published in July.
