Reisner to become chief of contractors association

Alasdair Reisner is to become chief execitive of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (Ceca).

Reisner is currently Ceca’s external affairs director and has played a major role in increasing the organisation’s influence on the government since joining the organisation in 2008.

He worked with colleagues from the Strategic Forum for Construction to draft the government’s recent Construction 2025 strategy document and is now involved in its implementation.

Reisner will take over from Mark Roper who has led the organisation since 2011. He will take up the role on 1 April.
