ONET works in nuclear waste retrieval, decommissioning and reactor maintenance in France. ONET Technologies has 2,000 employees and significant experience in high-end nuclear design and engineering, which will enhance Redhall’s existing nuclear offering across Europe.
Redhall Group supports the UK’s largest nuclear site, Sellafield, through Jordan Nuclear and has a strong presence at Aldermaston, the Atomic Weapons Establishment.
Managing director of Nuclear Engineering at Redhall Group, Tony Price said: "This agreement with one of Europe’s most notable and recognised leaders in nuclear reactor maintenance and decontamination and decommissioning is a key move for Redhall. Its endorsement of our company is recognition of our accomplishments in the sector to date and gives us confidence that we will continue to build on our nuclear expertise in the future.
"There is little doubt that the sector is growing fast, with an anticipated £73 billion investment by the NDA to deal with high hazard waste retrieval and decommissioning. Redhall and ONET are committed to supporting both UK and European major projects in the nuclear new build and decommissioning programmes and this strategic relationship forms a key part of Redhall’s plans to achieve Tier 2 status through increasing the scope of its nuclear activities."
