Record breaking results reported by Ritchies

Growth in the ground investigation and ground engineering markets helped to boost Bam Ritchies revenues in 2013 and the company has posted record results for the full year.

The company has announced a turnover of £59M last year which is a rise of 10% on the revenues reported in 2012.

Ritchies, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, reports that ground investigation activity increased to £11M, up 37.5% from 2012 levels as a result of work on Beauly to Denny Overhead Power Line, Borders Railway and Rampion Interconnector projects.

“Last year was always going to be a significant time in our history with 50 years of growing activity but the record turnover in the year once again confirms the strength of our business model and the commitment and hard work of our team members,” said Ritchies general manager Aladair Henderson. “This growth is significant and it should be noted that a respectable profit has been returned. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved.”
