Rebuilding: the next steps

RedR

NCE is to host a special one-day conference in March to discuss the challenges left by the Asian Tsunami. The conference will be held at One Great George Street and is aimed at all professionals working to assist the recovery across the Indian Ocean.

It will feature presentations and discussion sessions to help explain the priorities for and obstacles to delivering effective humanitarian aid to the region. The event will bring together professionals from the government, aid agencies, institutions and industry to help identify the most effective next steps for this extended recovery.

All profits from the conference will go to RedR to help assist its recruitment, training and assistance programmes in the region.

ICE nd homas elford will provide free conference facilities and catering, while NCE Conferences and all its suppliers will also supply services for no charge to ensure as much money as possible goes to the charity.

Further details will appear in next week's NCE or contact louise.coleman@emap. com.
