Real help to make you a better manager

Ice News

FOUR SCHOLARSHIPS for ICE members wishing to advance their management skills are up for grabs, courtesy of the Engineering Management Partnership (EMP).

EMP is a not-for-profit initiative run by a consortium of leading UK universities, including Bristol, Loughborough, Bradford, Leeds and Edinburgh, to help engineers, scientists and technologists develop management skills.

Two postgraduate certificate scholarships worth £2,400 are on offer to ICE members only, with two engineering doctorate (EngD) scholarships worth £12,500 open to all comers.

Courses are designed to be undertaken while in full-time employment. The programme boasts around 1,000 students supported by some 600 companies. The closing date for applications is 29 November.

INFOPLUS for further details and an application form contact Linda Franklin (01284) 718615 or email info@emp. ac. uk.
