Railtrack Northwest Structures Alliance

Railtrack Northwest Structures Alliance has won the 2001 Fleming Award for geotechnical excellence. The final was held on 5 December at the Institution of Civil Engineers in London. The Alliance team, which is drawn from Scott Wilson Kirkpatrick, Railtrack and Edmund Nuttall, beat off strong competition to pick up the £3000 prize from Cementation Foundations Skanska chief engineer Ken Fleming.

The annual award is sponsored by Cementation Foundations Skanska and supported and judged by the British Geotechnical Association.
