Rail success leads JCB to build new excavator plant

Success in the rail sector is one reason behind JCB’s recent decision to build a new excavator plant, according to sales operations director Chris Spring.

“The on going need for maintenance on our national rail lines means this sector will always be an interesting opportunity for a company like JCB,” said Spring. “The recent investment in a new £40M excavator plant in the UK also signals our intention to further build on the success of our JS range of excavators.”
