Rail contribution

Are you a graduate working in the rail industry and keen to be involved with issues that will affect your industry's future?

The Railway Civil Engineers Association, an associated society of the ICE, is looking for proactive young engineers to join its graduate committee to organise and co-ordinate graduate affairs and training.

The move follows the success of last year's Graduates in the Rail Industry (GERI) seminar which attracted, among others, former Strategic Rail Authority chairman Sir Alastair Morton and Railtrack chief engineer Andrew McNaughton.

If you are interested, and can attend periodic meetings at the ICE in London, contact GERI chairman Gareth Vest on 07764 774 419 or e-mail gareth_vest@baa. com.
