Question of reliability

Mark Whitby's letter written as President of the ICE to The Times on 3 September makes him and the Institution look extremely foolish. Has anyone told the French that nuclear power is unreliable?

Yes, Scotland has enough 'potential wind and wave power' around its coasts for 75% of Britain's needs but not in the form of electricity reliably generated at reasonable cost at a time when it is required.
