Putting on the pressure

SPOTLIGHT - Site investigation

French geotechnical specialist Fondasol has introduced a site investigation tool to the UK that has been used in mainland Europe for the last 40 years. The Menard Pressuremeter measures the failure and deformation mode of insitu soils in any type of ground, and produces values for insitu stress, stiffness and strength.

Fondasol UK recently carried out in-situ testing using the Menard Pressuremeter at Heron Quays in London's Docklands.
