PTFE plate to blame for GE19 bridge 'bump'

A polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) plate at the base of the GE19 bridge played a key part in it falling 200mm off its temporary support plates in May this year, a report released by Transport for London (TfL) today revealed.
