Professor Peter Guthie won prestigious Prize

Founder of disaster relief charity RedR, Professor Peter Guthie, won the prestigious Beacon Prize in the category for Creative Giving last month. He was selected by an independent panel of judges after the public nominated him for his outstanding contribution to charity.

The prize is an annual awards scheme designed to recognise and showcase individuals who have made exceptional contributions to charity, through giving time, resources or specialist skills.
