President on training visit to Sandhurst

ICE president David Orr will visit Sandhurst Military Academy as part of his presidential visit to the South East region in June.

Specialist training company IDG uses the Sandhurst facilities for team-building exercises.

The type of training provided by IDG is designed to focus on the creation and execution of strategic plans, "the art of effective decision making" and " communicating effectively upwards and downwards".

The president's visit is intended to highlight the importance of developing skills and team working, and shows that training can be done in interesting and challenging ways. One of IDG's customers Kier Engineering Services believes the training works particularly well for managers in a construction environment. Orr will arrive for the "passing out" dinner.
