Pour show

The article 'Cashow marrs bright summer', was accompanied by a photo showing a slab prior to the pouring of concrete (NCE 29 June).

The photo was a subject of particular interest during a discussion about abrasive wheel safety and the improving proactive attitudes of operatives to their PPE when using such a dangerous tool.

Our engineering department noted that the operative in the photo was not only without his high-vis clothing and hard hat, but has no goggles or gloves.
