ICE president Joe Dwyer found himself in hot water with the South Western local association when he turned up to the annual dinner in the famous Pump Room of the Old Roman Baths in Bath. During the dinner Dwyer presented the association's Merit Award 2000 to the Westgate Bridges Scheme in Gloucester. Mowlem's David Le Lohe (right) collected the award on behalf of the project team which included Mowlem as main contractor, Bullen as contractor's consultant, Gloucestershire County Council as client and Halcrow as client's consultant.
